Florham Park, NJ – Savoy, a leading benefits consulting firm and regional general agency, announces that Colin Scheifler has been promoted to Director, Consumer and Senior Markets. With over 15 years' experience, Scheifler has been a driving force in the growth of Savoy's Individual and Medicare business, exclusively specializing in insurance products for consumers and seniors for more than 10 years.
"This is an exciting and challenging time," said Scheifler. "There are great growth opportunities for brokers in the Senior Market since the entry of baby boomers. Individuals seeking health insurance also need brokers' assistance navigating the complex insurance landscape of the Affordable Care Act (ACA)."
Scheifler will be responsible for day-to-day operations and will work closely with John A. Selby, Vice President, Consumer and Senior Markets, to develop and implement growth strategies for Savoy and its partners. Scheifler will also collaborate with carriers and Field Marketing Organizations (FMOs) to create new opportunities while providing best-in-class services to brokers and customers.
