Let's gear up for the busiest time of the year to ensure you and your clients experience a smooth and efficient quoting process.

Savoy's Specialty Team has some reminders for small group (2-50) and large group (51+) ancillary requirements for quoting.

Timely Tips and Reminders
Please note, to process quotes in a timely manner, all required information must be provided. Additionally, please inform us if a group has been with their current carrier for more than three years, as this information could potentially lead to positive rate impacts.
 
Employer Information Requirements
  • Full Company Name
  • Complete Company Address
    • If there are multiple locations, please provide all addresses. 
  • SIC Code or Industry 
  • Requested Effective Date
  • Employer contribution levels are expected to be provided for each line of coverage being quoted. If no contribution level is provided, voluntary is assumed. 
  • Large Group - RFPs require current rates and renewal information. 
Employee Information Requirements
  • Gender
  • Date of Birth
  • Home Address Zip Code
All full-time eligible employees must be included on the census regardless of whether they are electing coverage or not. 
Employee Information Requirements by Product
  • Dental - Enrollment Status (Single, Employee + Spouse, Employee + Child(ren), Family) 
  • Vision - Enrollment Status (Single, Employee + Spouse, Employee + Child(ren), Family) 
  • Basic Life AD&D - Job Title and Salary (Both Flat Life amounts above $25K & Times Salary options)
  • Voluntary Life AD&D - Job Title, Salary and Election Amounts
  • Long Term Disability (LTD) - Job Title & Salary* 
  • Short Term Disability (STD) - Job Title & Salary*
    • For groups sizes 100+, LTD and STD claims experience is required (three years if possible). 
    • Voluntary LTD and STD plans require current election amounts. 
*If there are multiple company locations, carriers will require work zip codes to be included on the census

Additional Reminders:
  • If classes are being requested, they must be identified on the census.
    • All full-time executives / All other full-time employees
  • Rates are subject to changed based on final enrollment and plan details received. 
  • Carrier turnaround times for RFPs may be extended during Q4 peak season. 
  • Dental Health Maintenance Organization (DHMO) submissions require additional procession time and must be submitted to carriers between the 5th and 15th of the prior month. Please check with the team for specfic carrier deadlines.
